JJ J2-10 Series Reversible Max 12Nm On-Off All Plastic Electric Valve Actuator

J2-10 Series All Plastic Lightweight Multi-voltage Electric Actuator.

For the many applications where the torque in a small bore ball valve does not exceed 10Nm, the comprehensive feature list of the J3C-S is not needed and even for simple on-off duties, the New R Series is too big and heavy. For these reasons J+J, the EU electric actuator manufacturer developed an all plastic construction reversible electrical actuator, the J2-L Series. The smaller plastic housing suits the smaller ball valves and with an all plastic gearbox, the J2-10 Series is very lightweight.

Whist compact and lightweight, the J2-10 punches above its weight with an impressive feature list and offers multi-voltage for 24V AC or DC in the J2-L10 version and 110-240V AC or DC in the J2-H10 version, both with automatic voltage sensing, and electrical connections via the J+J standard external Din plugs for power and end of travel confirmation. Thermostatic anti-condensation protection is included as standard powered from the main external electrical supply.

Local position is verified either by a local visual T bar lever that doubles as the manual override operator, and with two internal volt free SPDT switches for remote end of travel confirmation.

Manual function is chosen using the external selector switch and is then operated using the T bar lever. The J2-10 will not react to changes in external commands whilst in manual mode.

J2-10 Electric valve actuators are protected against mechanical damage from excessive torque by J+J’s electronic torque limiter system. Valves are fitted via a multi-ISO5211 plastic flange with stainless threads.

The J2-10 plastic electric actuator was introduced in 2009.
